Performing Phenotypical Studies For An Adaptable Multi-Modality pH-Sensitive Nanoprobe for Real-Time Monitoring of Engineered Cells and Tissues
A versatile technology for the assessment of cell and tissue viability in different culture systems remains a concern in the biomanufacturing industry. Through this project, the research team studied the phenotypical effects of a ratiometric pH-sensing nanoprobe for the noninvasive monitoring of cells and tissue activities. The research team evaluated the nanoprobe in 2D and 3D culture systems to examine its performance and safety under different conditions. The nanoprobes will contribute to reducing inaccuracies in research results and propositions in the biomanufacturing industry by providing a means to effectively assess cell and tissue viability in real-time during experimentation.
