Mechanical Analysis of Reinforced Foam Core Composites

The objective of this project is to perform mechanical analysis on a computationally generated foam core structure. To do this, it was deemed necessary to model the foam core in 3D using a finite element solver. The current research is focused on developing a methodology to import closed cell foam geometries that are generated using a random Voronoi cell generation algorithm, then into ABAQUS.
