Discovering Factors that Drive the Recruitment of Macrophages to Glioblastoma Multiforme Tumor Cells

Currently, the researcher is working to produce a list of biological factors that may drive immune cell migration to Glioblastoma tumor cells. Discovering these factors may lead to improved quality of treatment options for patients. A survival analysis was conducted using available patient data. The researcher also ran statistical tests for mutations versus immune cells from the same data set. Computation is being done with available Mesothelioma data to find relative pathways between mutation, regulator, biclusters, and immune cells. Results will be replicated with Glioblastoma and be applied to highlighted biclusters to identify possible genetic targets to perturb during experimentation.
