A New Step Forward

The objective of this project is to develop a device that assists gait.  Assistive devices for a treadmill can help in gait rehabilitation for stroke survivors. This rehabilitation set up was designed to be accessible and affordable. Future work consists of further motion capture testing to ensure that design assists walking movement and potential redesign

Creating a soft robotic knee brace can reduce pain and injury risk in laborers tasked with repetitive lifting.
