Ram Pendyala joined Arizona State University in Fall 2006 after serving 12 years on the faculty of the University of South Florida in Tampa. He is a professor and interim director of the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment in the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering. He teaches and conducts research in multimodal transportation systems planning and engineering. He has published nearly 200 articles in journals, books, and proceedings, completed more than $7 million in sponsored research, and holds leadership positions in professional associations such as the Transportation Research Board, International Association for Travel Behaviour Research, and American Society of Civil Engineers.
