Qin Lei joined Arizona State University as an assistant professor in January 2016. Prior to ASU, she was a senior electric engineer, ULC Robotics, Hauppauge, NY, April 2015-December 2015; an electric engineer, General Electric Research Center, Niskayuna, NY, 2012-2015; and an intern, United Technology Research Center, East Hartford, CT, March 2012-Oct.2012.
Her research interests include: motor drive for electrical vehicle, medium voltage inverter for PV, fast charging stations and high speed motor drive; control and stability in high penetrated microgrid; on board charger for electrical vehicle; DC-DC converter for data center application; and high frequency high voltage application based on SiC and GaN Devices.
