Mary Laura Lind is a professor of Chemical Engineering in the School for Engineering of Matter, Transport and Energy at Arizona State University. She served as the Graduate Program Chair of Chemical Engineering from 2015 - 2021. From 2021 - 2023 she is appointed as a Fulton Entrepenurial Professor. She is also affiliated with the Biodesign Center for Bioelectronics and Biosensors and has a Research Affiliate appointment at the Mayo Clinic (Arizona) in the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension.
Lind joined ASU in August 2010 as an assistant professor. Prior to ASU, Lind completed a California Nanosystems Institute Pioneer Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of California Los Angeles in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department. Previously Lind received her master's degree and doctorate in materials science from the California Institute of Technology under the guidance of Professor William L. Johnson, and a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Yale University.
