Keith Hjelmstad is President’s Professor of structural engineering in the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment (SSEBE) in the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University. Hjelmstad’s research focuses on computational mechanics, earthquake engineering, stability of structures, optimization, structural identification, nondestructive evaluation of large structures, and numerical simulation of complex structures.
